Furthermore, you can register online at the State of Florida Special Needs registry for “special needs” status if you have a physical, mental, or sensory disability and require assistance during an emergency. CharlotteCounty Emergency Management, along with th Florida Department of Health in Charlotte County, will strive to provide special needs sheltering and/or transportation to a general shelter.
